I recently purchased this product and was pleased with its ease of use - just snap on the headset and you're good to go, despite being over the ear. The battery life isn't exactly spectacular either, but it's easy to remove and charge when needed.

One issue I've found is that as the headset sits atop my head, there isn't enough pressure applied to keep the screen clear of glare. This means a slightly reduced field of view - not ideal for gaming or watching videos on high brightness settings. However, this can be easily fixed by tweaking the strap's position - just a bit more tugging upwards and you should see a significant improvement in image quality.

I've been using the BOBOVR M3 Pro Head Strap with my Meta Quest 3 for a while now, and I have to say it's made all the difference in terms of comfort and balance when spent time indoors. Building quality and design are top-notch, feeling solid and well-made from the start.

The real standout feature is the magnetic battery system – it's brilliant. The battery just snaps into place with a strong magnetic connection, so there's no fuss about clips or cables getting in the way. Need to swap out mid-game? No problem – the new one clicks right in smoothly. This makes managing battery life effortless.

Comfort-wise, this strap absolutely delivers. The weight distribution is excellent, so my Quest 3 feels much more balanced on my head compared to pressing down on it face-first. It's snug without being too tight, and I appreciate that I can lift the headset up while keeping the strap in place – it's incredibly convenient.

Battery life is also a welcome addition. The included battery pack may not eliminate battery drain entirely, but it extends playtime for sure. Under heavy use, the Quest 3 loses charge slower than expected – just at a more manageable rate. If you're planning super long sessions, an extra battery would be worth considering to swap in.

In short, I'd highly recommend this strap over my old stock head strap. It's comfortable, sturdy, and makes dealing with battery life much easier. The ability to flip the headset up while keeping the strap in place is a game-changer – it just feels more practical than having to deal with cables or external packs.

I wouldn't hesitate to suggest upgrading if you're still using the default strap. You won't regret it.

When I purchased the Bobovr headset for my Quest 3, I thought I was getting a standard issue accessory - unfortunately, this proved to be a major misstep.

I've read many reviews of other headsets that use a strap to keep it securely in place, but I must say that this one's design is completely off the mark. The headset sits heavy on my face, and to get it comfortable, you have to pull the strap tight against your face - not exactly the most user-friendly approach.

Despite my misgivings, I decided to give this Bobovr a try anyway. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the strap works. The padding on either side of my head makes it feel like I'm wearing a soft hug, and when you pull the strap tight enough, it stays put.

Now that I've got the hang of using the strap, I can take full advantage of the headset's features - such as its built-in battery management system, which balances out the weight of the headset so that it doesn't feel like a chunky brick. The extra battery also helps keep my internal power source charged until it runs out, and then the magnetic mount takes over.

I've been thoroughly impressed with how well this headset has performed in both low-light conditions and bright sunlight, without any issues or overheating. It's clear that the manufacturer put a lot of thought into designing a comfortable and reliable solution for users like me who want a top-notch gaming experience on their Quest 3.
