The extra time you get from the battery pack is truly invaluable, making it perfect for long gaming sessions without needing to recharge mid-game. Additionally, the batteries are hot swappable with strong magnets holding them in place, and swapping them out with the headset still on is incredibly convenient.

Initially, we had been waiting patiently for some time to try out this head strap, which finally arrived at our doorstep. It's reasonably okay to fit, although a little more force may be required to push all sides of the headset into the locating arms of the straps. Once in position, it's fine. We've also charged fully the battery that came with it and found that they'd fitted this model with a 10,000mAh type, which was a relief. Testing it out revealed that we're both impressed by how well-designed the head strap is - my wife has a significantly smaller head than me, but mine being quite large makes for a snug fit. The headset simply no longer needs to be clamped excessively to be secure and remain in position when moving around during more active games. The comfort level is excellent, regardless of our head sizes, as the magnetic battery retention system keeps everything in place without causing excessive strain.

The scroll wheel type control has become an essential feature for us - you can press it multiple times to disable or enable the battery, and also to turn on/off the fan, which greatly improves overall comfort. The fan itself is quite impressive, blowing directly down over my forehead and offering a cool air feature that helps reduce sweating during prolonged gaming sessions. Yes, there's some ambient noise on its higher settings, but it's hardly intrusive and only audible at full intensity. On its lowest or mid-range settings, the fan barely comes to mind.

Having extra battery life has been a game-changer for us - having extended our use in one session from 6 hours to over 12 hours is a huge improvement, making this headset an excellent investment of money. However, we do have some concerns about its durability, particularly with regards to the plastic materials used in its construction. While it's remarkably light and doesn't feel heavy at all on my head, the overall build quality leaves something to be desired - younger users may want to exercise caution when handling and storing it due to potential damage from mishandling.

Despite these concerns, we do wholeheartedly recommend this headset for those willing to pay a premium.
