Son is absolutely thrilled with his new gaming setup - he's been playing for hours and looks great, which is exactly what you'd expect from a top-notch product. The thing that really sets him apart is how well-built everything is; it feels solid in your hands. Setting it up was incredibly straightforward and took only a few minutes.

The real game-changer here is the force feedback and vibrations - they add an incredible level of immersion to what could have been a mediocre controller experience. My first impression after installing this steering wheel and pedal set has been overwhelmingly positive. The G923 is a solid addition to my gaming setup, allowing me to immerse myself in F1 2023 and Gran Turismo 7 on the PlayStation 5.

I've had this for about three months now, and I'm pleased with how it performs as expected. What's notable is that the brake pedal takes some getting used to - it feels harder to depress than the clutch or accelerator, but my pre-teen niece and nephew can manage it just fine. The pedals themselves are relatively close together, which hasn't been a problem since I don't use the clutch.

The pedal arrangement does feel a bit cramped at times, especially when trying to navigate tight corners in Gran Turismo 7. However, I've attached another wide pedal that can be used as an alternative, and it's helped alleviate some of this discomfort.

When driving on certain tracks, the force feedback from the pedals can be quite loud and aggressive - depending on the game's surface and my own level of recklessness! This has led me to invest in some extension cables to keep things tidy when sitting close to the PS5/TV. I've also opted for cable wraps to help conceal the cables.

Despite a few minor issues, such as the inability to untether power and data cables from the steering wheel and the presence of USB-A cables instead of USB-C - which could potentially introduce lag - I'm happy with my purchase overall. The buttons and paddles are made of decent quality plastics that function adequately.

When it comes to setup and connection, I found Google's PS5 instructions to be helpful in setting up the system, although I do remember asking for some assistance. On a scale of one to five, I'd rate this steering wheel and pedal set an eight out of ten - it's a solid piece of kit that delivers on its promises.

Overall, I think the G923 is a great value for the price, even if it does take some getting used to at first. It's not cheap, but it's worth considering for those looking for a high-quality gaming experience with a good steering wheel and pedal set.

I bought this wheel to upgrade my G920 Xbox edition that was getting a bit worn out and sloppy. I opted for the PlayStation version because it has more buttons, which gives me a sleeker and cleaner look. The leather feels nicer than the previous one, with real leather rather than the brightly colored ones you can find on some models. The steering is drastically improved, making it perfect for Euro Truck Simulator 2.

The wheel simulates the power-assisted steering (PAS) well, especially when I use an older truck like the RJL Scania T 4 series. The amount of button options is ideal, with everything from wipers to radio being assigned and easily accessible via the keyboard. The pedal feel is also better than my previous wheel.

I'm pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to use, even for casual players who need to do a bit of everything. The pedal response is responsive, which makes a big difference when playing sim games like Euro Truck Simulator 2. I've been using this wheel for a couple of months now, and it's been performing admirably.

It's worth noting that the Hori truck control wheel is available for an additional hundred dollars, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a more affordable option. The build quality on the Hori wheel is also subpar, and I've had issues with reliability and customer support.

Overall, I'm very happy with my G923 wheel for both casual racing and sim use. It's well-made, competent, and easy to use, making it a solid option for anyone looking for a reliable wheel that can keep up with their gaming needs.
