The DTS:X 2.0 surround sound enhances immersion, but tweaking custom EQ settings in the Logitech G HUB software for a more balanced experience yields better results.

A big selling point is the Blue VO!CE microphone - it offers solid voice clarity for in-game communication and Discord calls, but out of the box, it sounds flat and quiet. Adjusting the settings in G HUB makes a noticeable difference, though it's not as good as a standalone mic.

Wireless performance is impressive, with rock-solid connection and zero latency, making competitive gaming a breeze. The range is also excellent - I can walk across my apartment without any dropouts. Battery life is solid but not exceptional, lasting around 18-20 hours on a single charge, which should suffice for two days of gaming.

Customization options are vast with the Logitech G HUB software - setting up different EQ profiles for gaming and music, fine-tuning Blue VO!CE mic settings to your liking. A great feature is detachable mic with Blue VO!CE filters for clear communication during online sessions.

One potential drawback is that it lacks Bluetooth support - only compatible with the USB dongle. Additionally, battery life could be better compared to some competitors.

The sound quality is absolutely exceptional - I can clearly hear individual sounds and their distinct qualities as much as possible, including directionality that makes me feel like I'm right where those sounds are coming from.

They're incredibly comfortable, which is a huge plus for gaming sessions with my partner who's often listening to the TV or doorbell ring in the background. However, we've found that switching between the leather and velour pads has given us more sound leakage than we'd anticipated - but it's all worth it if you enjoy open-back headphones like our partner does.

One thing to keep in mind is that they don't block out every other noise perfectly, which can be a bit of an issue if you're trying to focus on something else. But with the leather pads, everything seems fine - and we've even been able to use them for work calls without any issues at all.

The battery life has been truly impressive - I charged mine when they arrived 9 days ago, and we've been using them both for work calls and gaming sessions every night since then. We're on 73% now, and I know that's not going to last forever (or so I'm told!). The controls are super intuitive, and the little sounds the headset plays in response to things like switching it off or muting the mic are really cool.

I've even used them with my partner's work laptop via Bluetooth - as long as we're close enough, the sound quality is top-notch. Some users may find the GHUB software a bit finicky, but I think it's actually pretty good. We just use it for gaming and some voice calls, which are usually fine.

The only real quibble we have is with the volume - when we're in call mode on our work laptop, the Bluetooth connection can be a bit too loud (even at 20% of normal volume!). To mitigate this, I've adjusted the system settings to reduce the volume even further, but it's not something that's going to bother most users. Overall, though, these headphones are an absolute winner - we're really impressed with their sound quality and comfort levels.
