One day, Marisa suddenly vanished from Gensokyo. In search of her, Reimu is drawn into a mysterious book. Inside the book lies a strange world filled with libraries, deserts, and other bizarre landscapes and within each of these worlds appears something that resembles Marisa. Watching over Reimus adventure are Remilia, Flandre, Sakuya, and Patchouli, who freely chime in with their own commentary as they please. Will Reimu be able to find the real Marisa?
