Pillars of Eternity is an isometric RPG that was originally the result of a very successful Kickstarter campaign by a studio that had long since lost its lustre - Obsidian. They really turned things around with Pillars of Eternity, though, and made one of the most engrossing and well put-together games of 2015, picking up dozens of awards and broad critical acclaim. Now, the original game along with all the previously released DLC and expansions have been bundled together by Paradox Arctic and 505 Games to make their console debut. The game takes place in the land of Drywood in the world of Eora. The kingdom's children are plagued by a condition that sees them become 'hollowborn' at birth. Translation: they're born with no soul.
