The light show on this controller was mesmerizing, with a lot of players likely enjoying its hypnotic effects. Despite my initial enthusiasm for the product, I found myself switching off after just a few plays due to lackluster features and subpar presentation.

First and foremost, the quality of the hardware is top-notch, but it's clear that this controller won't be holding up as long as some of the previous Power A models. As someone who's invested in a particular brand tradition, I'm cautiously optimistic about its durability - having had three other controllers from this company previously outlast even their most expensive units.

The four controllers I've used so far have all proven themselves to be reliable companions, each one holding up admirably against wear and tear. In contrast, the original Microsoft controller was notorious for its fragility, while some of my past Power A models were relegated to the dustbin due to reliability issues.

The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller has been a great find, offering an excellent value for money when purchased for under £70. I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight the controller feels, particularly in comparison to its predecessor.

Upon closer inspection of the back buttons, it's clear that they're well-placed and provide a satisfying tactile feedback that's perfect for gaming on the go. The layout also seems intuitive, allowing my fingers to find their optimal positions with ease.

However, I did encounter some minor issues with the controller when playing certain games. Random disconnections from Xbox to the controller were a problem, causing me to lose progress or even have it reset altogether. This led to an impromptu return for a replacement, which I'm hopeful will resolve both issues.

The gun game modes also proved problematic at times, where pulling the trigger all the way and having it only fire once resulted in frustrating gameplay. In such cases, it was essential to adjust the sensitivity settings to get the best out of the controller.

Fortunately, these issues seem minor, and I'm optimistic that the controller will hold up well for several years to come. Additionally, when the faceplate is lit, battery drain seems to be a concern – quick draining after extended gaming sessions might need some attention.

Overall, while not perfect, this Xbox Elite Series 2 controller has been an excellent find, with its impressive value and solid performance making it a top choice for any gamer.
