Very much a diverse and unique album the veterans have succeeded in creating a well written release that is timeless in its appeal (similar to Grand Magus' recent Hammer Of The North opus). Accolades go out to drummer Anthony Lopez who pummels the heck out of his kit creating a welcomed edge to the sound and to the returning Conklin at the mic. From clean to crazed King Diamond gymnastics to gargled growl to Halford-ian squeals his inclusion here proves to be an inspired decision which sends this album skyward.
