No hardware alongside it. This specific console was built 2011, date code 1A. On my TV it works up till 720p however it does say that it's supports 1080p, so I'm not sure if it does go up to 1080p for other TVs, I didn't want to update to find out if it changes since this system software is very old and therefore quite RARE.
