Console is fully working, in decent condition and has been tested with a PS3 disc. it is the backwards compatible model. The console has been opened before and has a slight defect from putting back together issue on the front near the power light. This console (as with basically all original launch models) does have quite a loud fan but it only sometimes goes very high speed on just the home screen. it could be an issue with a temperature sensor or fan curve or something but they get ramped up alot so keep in mind it isn't an immaculate working console. just has issues with the fan curve or something. could be solved with cfw. console only.
