Product Reviews

Name: Review:
It's worth noting that the PS5 itself has a built-in Bluetooth connection, allowing users to connect their cellphones for seamless voice and audio capabilities while gaming.

The headset offers excellent sound quality, with clear vocals and deep bass that really comes alive in games like Call of Duty and Halo. The separate volume sliders on both the PS5 and cellphone allow for precise control over your listening experience.

The cellphone app is a game-changer, enabling users to adjust their bass levels by up to 50% and unlock crisp, punchy sound that perfectly complements the game's audio design.

A battery life of nearly 100 hours is not only impressive but also reassuring, providing weeks of uninterrupted gaming without needing to recharge.

I was initially stuck with an outdated pair of Turtle Beach headphones, but I recently made the switch from Xbox Gen 2 to PS5 and discovered that they weren't compatible. However, this meant I had two options: continue using my Xbox Gen 2 or upgrade to PC/PS5 Gen 3 headsets.

That's when I decided to make the switch, and I was pleasantly surprised by the Turtle Beach headphones' excellent sound quality and comfort. One of the standout features is their ability to connect via USB transmitters that allow for seamless switching between consoles. The fact that one can easily plug in a transmitter from the PC and insert it into the XBox console was a huge convenience, making it easy to switch from my Xbox Gen 2 to PS5 with just a button press.

I've found the Turtle Beach headphones to be incredibly comfortable, which is always a plus when choosing new audio gear. The upgrade has been well worth it, as I can now update and access various sound profiles using an app on my phone or desktop, and they've held up remarkably well overall, withstanding heavy use without any issues.

I would highly recommend these headsets to anyone in the market for a pair that will keep up with their gaming needs.

I've only had these about a week, and I knew they were good enough to keep right from the start. The sound quality is superb, with earpads that are tight but comfortable, and a headband that's also super comfy. They come with 2x USB dongles, which allow me to plug them in on my PC without having to unplug/plug each device every time. I use these for gaming, but they're not just limited to it - I can also take calls using the simultaneous Bluetooth mode, so I can stay connected even when I'm moving around.

I was really looking forward to getting rid of my old Corsair Virtuoso headset that I'd only had for about two years. But this one blew me away with its wireless capability and long battery life - it lasted a full 20 hours on a single charge, which is unheard of in headsets like mine. The mic quality is also top-notch, allowing me to communicate clearly even when I'm moving around.

I was blown away by the value for money, too - these TB Stealth 700 Gen3 have quoted times up to 80 hours of battery life, and I've been able to get that kind of performance out of them so far. The wireless range is also a big plus - it's about twice as good as my old headset, and I'm really happy with the results.

Sadly, after just five months of use, I had to return these for a full refund due to issues with the wireless function. It stopped working suddenly, but I think it might have been a battery fault, although plugging in the USB C cable seemed to fix the problem. I was really disappointed in this, because other reviews held up well until this point. I also got a bit miffed when I had to return them - I just wanted to get a replacement headset that would work reliably.

I've been considering upgrading my old Plantronics headset for a couple of weeks now, but it's broken the right earcup off and won't even last a week without breaking. So I'm having second thoughts about getting one of these new headsets. The HyperX Cloud II is still in great shape except for its mic, which apparently has never sounded good to me. And as for the Fractal Design Scape headset, it's been a bit of a disappointment - it died after just a few weeks, and I'm not sure why it had such a short lifespan.

I've decided to wait until my HyperX Cloud III S wireless headset goes on sale in white for £130 before making a purchase.
