I was already holding out hope that my previous replacement wouldn't be a repeat issue, but after experiencing another problem with my headphone - I'm not using the built-in mic and can only hear myself when gaming. My boom mic just isn't working as expected, so I need to switch to the integrated mic on this headset.

Since I've had this particular model for less than a year, it's frustrating that I'll have to go through the process of getting a replacement again. This time it seems like I'm being directed away from our support team and towards Turtle Beach's assistance.

The situation with my headphones is even more unacceptable when you factor in the cost - another €200+ euros I've spent on this headset, only to be left with one functional piece of equipment. That's not just frustrating; it's a huge financial waste.

I'm extremely disappointed that I had to deal with poor customer service from both parties involved. My experience with Turtle Beach has been consistently subpar.

The audio on this headset was clear and punchy for both sides of conversation. Unfortunately, music sounded quite dynamic but vocals often seemed like they were hiding behind the overall mix. When playing a movie, the sound quality was good but vocals felt slightly off in terms of presence. I tried tweaking the settings online, but it wasn't until I fine-tuned the bass and treble that I finally achieved my desired audio balance. However, once I reached this ideal, some other aspects of the sound seemed off. It's also worth noting that a custom preset can bring your sounds up to par, which is great if you're particular about the way your audio sounds. Fortunately, the app has all the features you need for managing your settings and achieving optimal performance. If only the battery life was more reliable - I'd expect it to last longer than it does. When playing multiplayer games like MW2, pinpointing enemy positions is crucial, but the sound quality often makes it harder to do so.

The voice that tells you about battery level, Bluetooth connectivity, and other details sounds a bit too cheerful for my taste - maybe I'm just not used to hearing this kind of friendly tone. The docking station, however, is a different story altogether. It's been known to flash its colors in a way that can be quite distracting when you're trying to multitask or relax. In particular, the constant blinking blue/ red/solid blue/red issue often pops up during games and can be frustrating - it's definitely not just a matter of battery life! The range is great, but even with this level of distance, there are times when the sound drops out or gets distorted. When you're not actively playing, connecting to your base station takes ages and sometimes even dies altogether due to low battery levels.

Over four months of use, I've experienced an alarming decline in sound quality - it's as if the microphones have become perpetually static and unusable.

It's been a couple of weeks since I started experiencing issues with the headset, and I'm currently navigating the process of returning it to turtle beach for further assistance. The company has directed me back to their own website, which in turn informs me that they'll need to facilitate another return - this time on my preferred marketplace. When I spoke with them, I was told to follow the same steps again.

I've been a loyal customer of turtle beach for over 10 years and have always trusted their products, but unfortunately, my recent experience with this headset has left me disappointed. The price tag is certainly steep - the most expensive headset I've purchased from them, and one that's yet to experience any significant issues.
